The Girls Day Program is designed for adolescent girls between the ages of 12 and 18 who have been referred by Juvenile Court Services, The Department of Human Services, or funded by Title 19. The Girls Program consists of an academic program and also skills building sessions based on a broad spectrum of problems in behaviors. Each girl is assessed prior to entry into the program by a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts of LPHA to concentrate and specify the treatment approach for each girl.

Program Expectations
The Girls Day Program will set a safe and constructive environment with clear expectations and consequences for behaviors. The girls will model three basic principles while in the Girls Day Program: Love, Respect, and Responsibility.

Love: The girls will show compassion for themselves and others by creating a hate-free environment where caring for others is encouraged.

Respect: The girls will develop healthy self-esteem, respect differences in peers and authority, and also be considerate of others’ possessions.

Responsibility: The girls will participate in group and individual skill sessions, and also participate actively and put forth effort in the classroom assignments.
